Felt good during the first couple miles on this thick sultry day, so decided to take a risk and go for a longer faster run. Got in a good paced 10 miler, easing up in the last few miles. Might’ve even hit near 6:30 pace for a couple of middle miles. A little paranoid about how the left foot would do, but it held up – no pain, just some stiffness at moments. Will have to see how the it feels tonight and tomorrow, but an encouraging sign. It was the longest run in several weeks, and in tough conditions. Maybe the beginning of training for the fall marathon…
