6 weeks til Boston

12 miles in the park on a blustery day, some light snow blowing around, felt good at the start, then bonked a bit in the middle miles – had plenty to eat earlier but the run felt like I hadn’t eaten enough protein – recovered after a couple of miles for a more comfortable final 3 miles home.  Aiding the recovery was concentration, meditating on the steps and yards ahead, not necessarily blocking out the light-headedness but going with it, folding it into the strides, kinda like what you would like to do if a similar situation arises during a marathon.
