Was able to squeeze in 3 miles yesterday on a busy schedule and a windy/stormy day, about the most I could do.
Had more time today for a longer 16 miler in the park on a much colder evening. The temps dropped about 40 degrees from yesterday, it’s been a roller coaster couple of weeks of weather. The 16 miles were fine, not sure how much I’m running tomorrow ahead of Saturday’s 8k Shamrock Run in Buffalo, one of the area’s biggest races, supposed to stay cold through the weekend. Would like to have some life in these legs even if the main purpose is to use the race as a hard workout. Warm up and cool down runs also to keep up the mileage.
Taper is a couple of weeks away.
