Took yesterday off after a busy productive week. Normally not obsessed with mileage except to use it as general indicator of fitness, but I try to have at least one week of around 100 miles during marathon training, and the 96 miles last week would be that for this training cycle.
After a restful night, back at it this summer-like afternoon with a 14 miler including 7 miles in the park at under 7 minute mile pace. Running without the heavier winter wear was nice, freeing, and helped pick up the pace. Sweat from the heat was welcome.
