Had just enough energy for a 12 miler to the park and back through frozen rain, better than plain rain, as the clothes stayed dry for most of the run. Could have used a pair of goggles to keep the frozen rain pellets out of the eyes. It’s gone back to wet rain again outside, and we’re to get the season’s first lake effect snow storm over the second half of the week, a cold front cooling and sweeping the moisture over from the relatively warm Lake Erie onto our region. As usual the most of Buffalo will get a moderate amount, but the towns south of us will get a few feet. Winter training starts this week.
