Feeling better after a couple of recovery days, got in the final hard workout I wanted before Sunday’s half. The hard period that began a couple of weeks ago ended today with a solid set of intervals over hilly trails, 5 x 500 yard sprints with a couple of minutes rest in between; 8 miles for the day. Felt good about this workout and about the past couple of weeks of training. Feel as ready as I could be for Sunday. Now onto a few days of easy running, picking up the number and such, and getting ready….
