recovery – distance


It’s starting to feel a little more like fall, but was still able to run in short sleeves and shorts during today’s recovery/distance run of 12 miles in the park and back.  The bright sun warmed the cooling afternoon perfectly for the long slow run.  The body was a little sore and tired from yesterday’s long tempo run and the past week’s mileage, felt in control the whole way.  Eased the the joints and feet by running much on grassy paths.  Doing what I can, wasn’t that long ago that I was struggling with foot injuries.
