An 8 mile recovery run on trails and road on a warm overcast Sunday afternoon. Felt relatively good after yesterday’s 12 miles that included a tough 6 mile tempo run in the middle. Hit a little ‘wall’ in the middle of today’s run, the effects of increased mileage of the past couple of weeks, and the joints creaked a little, the right knee acting up a bit in the last couple of miles; but the body feels like it’s adjusting to the higher mileage. Another easy day tomorrow, maybe a long run on Tuesday, targeting the Oct 30 Niagara Falls International Half. Before that, though, looking forward to visiting my son at NYU next weekend for Parents Weekend.
