Feeling better today after yesterday’s easy day, got in a 12 miler with a 6 mile tempo run of 6 – 6:30/mile pace in the park. Was like old times, hadn’t done this workout in the park in a while. After a week of increased mileage, was watchful of how the body – especially the left foot – was handling the heavier workload. The foot stiffened up a bit towards the end of the tempo run, but loosened up after the 3 mile cool down back home on mostly grassy surface. Feeling fine, probably will feel the effects of the run tomorrow during the recovery run.
