feeling sore and strong


A beautiful sunny day, a warm summer-like day in the 70’s, we don’t have too many of these left this year, went out to enjoy it with an easy paced 12 mile run, on trails and pavement, continuing the recovery from Sunday’s half.  The body is feeling better than yesterday, arms and legs having loosened up more.  Staying on trails for much of the run helped deal with doing double digit mileage 2 days in a row.  As much as Sunday’s race took a lot out of me, it seems to have strengthened me as well – don’t know if that makes sense.  Looking forward to the Half at the end of the month.
