Of the planned 12 to 14 miler for today, split the difference and ran a solid 13 miler to the park and back, on trails and pavement. The longest run in months, the legs and feet held together. The overcast skies and temps in the upper 60’s helped. Even picked up the pace to a tad under 7 minute pace for 6 miles in the park. A confidence booster. Will get in one more hard workout between now and next Sunday’s Lucytown Half. Tired and famished, loading up with some pasta and protein now.
