strong hills


Stayed warm and humid, was still a little tired and sore from Sunday and Monday…, so was a good day to get in a hard workout.  6 sprints up a 500 yard long uphill trail in the park, with a couple of minutes of slow jog rest in between.  Was a good strength workout as well as speed building.  The left foot stiffened up a little, but overall feels like it’s on the recovery path.  8 miles total for the day.  

Felt good about getting this in even while I was tired.  Will take it relatively easy the rest of the week leading up to a big local 5k on Sunday.  It’s supposed to cool off this weekend.  Feeling more prepared for this one than for last Sunday’s race.
