‘knock on wood’

monday

Another great run in a series of great runs, cautiously upbeat about the injury recovery and the fall season.  On a warm humid day, 9 miles to the park and back, and felt so good that I picked up the pace in the last 4 miles to under 7 minute pace.  The left foot felt good – knock on wood – and what a difference that makes, being able to relax and stride away.  Will look for another good one tomorrow.  On a side note, checked in with my son in NY, classes start tomorrow, likes his roommates, enjoying college…knock on wood…
