An 8 mile recovery run, partly on the trails and bike path around the pond in the park. A warm sunny day. Felt okay for the most part, the legs and feet sore from Friday night’s 5k. Don’t have a race for a couple of weeks, so will have time to recover a little, get some fun runs in, and fine tune some things. Looks increasingly like a fall marathon will be out of reach – the requisite mileage increase would be very risky. Probably back to my old faves, a half or two, instead.
