A more comfortable day – in the low dry 80’s – allowed for a quick efficient hill workout on park trails. 5 x (approx) 600 yard mostly uphill sprints with a short jog rest in between. Not a killer, but got the heart and lungs going pretty good. And the soft uneven surface of the rolling trails seemed to strengthen the left foot. With the warm up to the park and cool down back home, 8 miles altogether. Feeling good about Saturday’s 10k.
