recovering and sore


Upped the mileage a bit for an 8 mile recovery run (7 miles yesterday including the 5k and warm up/cool down).  Almost everything thing was sore – the legs, arms, feet.  The left foot was extra sore, probably a delayed effect from yesterday’s race.  The heat and humidity didn’t help.  Let’s see what happens tomorrow.

    I’ve got a 5K tomorrow – for some reason I felt compelled to commit to doing 3 during the summer months (in spite of the fact I’ve not done one since 2013, nor have I actively jogged since 2014. HA! But I love reading your story, and like to imagine myself running a couple of miles behind you (much slower, and for a much shorter distance). I’m sure you’ll do great tomorrow!
