The left foot felt better than it has in several days, decided to take today off to help it heal further before tomorrow’s 4 mile race. It may feel even better tomorrow and deal better with the pounding of a race.
Will approach the race as a (really) hard workout. Really hard – expecting some top age group runners from the Northeast. The temps coming down a tad tomorrow will help. Not sure what type of racing shape I’m in, not as much riding on the race this year, still in transition from a spring marathon to a possible fall marathon. As always, the big party afterwards is the prize.
