recovery 10

A little sore from yesterday’s race and still a little tired, felt relatively better today.  Went for a 10 mile recovery run on a hot sunny day, the muggy’s are coming back (also 10 miles yesterday including 2 mile warm up, 2 mile cool down, along with the 10k).  Still not sure why I felt so bad yesterday morning, maybe some food from Sunday or maybe one too many beer, though didn’t feel like I over-indulged.  No big deal.  The race went badly, but still taking these early summer races as workouts.  The last couple of years of racing have been intense; taking the intensity level down a notch this summer.
