goal race: Buffalo Marathon 5/29
3 days out from the marathon, and things appear to be coming together for the big day. The legs and feet are beginning to feel the benefits of the taper, and after my ‘go to’ remedy of several days of echinacea tea and kefir, the body seems to be handling the spring cold that I caught earlier in the week. We’ll see…
Now if only the weather agrees to be not too disagreeable on Sunday. Supposed to start around 70 degrees at race time, 6:30 am, and move up to the mid 80’s by noon, and muggy. It was in the low 80’s and sunny when I went for a short run this afternoon, and, yes, was hot.
A couple more days for things to shake out.
