goal race: Buffalo Marathon 5/29
A warm sunny summery day in the 70’s made it fun to be outdoors but a little tough for a 12 miler on the 3rd day of recovery running. A sudden temperature hike like this makes any pace uncomfortable, but today’s goal of continued leisurely pacing let me run as slow as I needed to. The legs, especially the quads, were still feeling this past weekend’s races. The plantar fascia of both feet were behaving for the most part, appreciating my staying on soft ground. Will see how I feel tomorrow for a possible workout…
Besides the run, it was just great to be out on such a beautiful afternoon, running into a few people along the way, as always in Buffalo.
