a little better each day

goal race: Buffalo Marathon 5/29


Feeling a little more back in the swing of things post vacation and felt so in today’s careful 11 miles, now two days of running in a row.  With the temps in a sunny 60’s, had to get out and stay out as long as possible.  Went to the crowded park, ran mostly on trails partly to avoid the running traffic and partly to ease the pounding on the right foot plantar fascia.  Two days of painless running – only some soreness every couple of miles – the dirt/grass running surface helped.  I could feel the PF but wasn’t favoring it while striding.  It’ll be this kind of rehab for a little while longer hopefully.  Icing it now while having dinner.
