goal race: Buffalo Marathon 5/29
A nice relaxed 8 miles with my son this afternoon on this cool first day of spring, and to help the foot plantar fasciitis heal, didn’t add any miles on as I usually do on Sundays. The foot felt better afterwards. Also needed to pack for the trip, leaving early tomorrow morning and hadn’t had much time to get ready this week.
It’ll be a busy vacation week, we come back from Vegas Thursday then head to Boston Easter weekend to visit family. Will try and probably will get in some consistent running during the week, but won’t stress about it; having fun is the priority and not keeping up the high mileage for the entire week won’t kill the training. In fact, will use the week to ease up on the foot and recharge for the upcoming key 2 months leading up to 5/29.
