goal race: Buffalo Marathon 5/29
After yesterday’s windchills in negative twenty-somethings, today was a balmy 12 degrees F during my customary Sunday double, a morning 7 miles then an afternoon 8 miles with my son. The sun shone brightly and lit up the day, reflecting off of all the snow. Made the cold day seem not so cold.
Snow on the ground were packed harder today, so the footing was improved. Still it was a workout getting through all the snowy sidewalks and paths. Felt the burn, a successful day of running, especially enjoying running with my son. And more to celebrate was my son being accepted to one of his top college choices. Very proud.
