Did a double today, 6 miles in the morning then 8 miles in the afternoon with my son. It was a day to keep the mileage up, but really mostly to go easy and loosen up the legs. The 6 in the morning were slow and gentle on the sore quads. Loosened up enough to have a good run with my son through the park. A lot of people were out today on a very warm – reaching 50 F – spring-like day. Everything was good except for tripping on a crack in the sidewalk while walking – walk much? – the last few yards back home after the morning run. Must have been more tired than I thought. Ripped the pants, scratched the left knee, and bruised the left hand. Oh well, needed a new pair of running pants anyway.
