Feeling as if I was coming down with something yesterday was a good reason to rest the left foot/ankle that’s been giving me trouble for the last few days; got some sleep in lieu of running, and that made all the difference.
By this morning, think I got rid of whatever bug that was spreading in my system, and the foot felt better. It warmed a bit, so tonight’s late 16 mile run didn’t feel so bad, even with the light rain/snow mix in the latter miles. It took a couple of miles for the right foot to loosen up, and then the left hamstring took over to tighten up in the middle miles. Everything felt fine by the 16th mile, just a little tired. A nice long run, look forward to another good one tomorrow.
