The temps were in the 50’s, but it felt colder while battling 20 mph winds and 50+ mph wind gusts during what was supposed to be a slow easy 10 miler. The run was slow but not easy. Felt good during the initial miles running with the wind, while the 2nd half against it returning home was rough. Ran a good portion of the run on trails and grass to give the legs some TLC. But couldn’t find much shelter among the leafless trees. Still, can’t complain too much. Very much looking forward to this weekend, when temps are supposed to reach the upper 60’s. Don’t mind waiting a little longer for snow, wouldn’t even mind a balmy Christmas.
