no polar vortex this thanksgiving, thanks

A nice 7 mile run to the park and back, partly on the Turkey Trot course, a couple of days from the race.  Cold but can feel it warming up.  Supposed to be in the 40’s tomorrow, then in the 50’s on Thursday – probably will be in the upper 40’s, near 50, at race time.  The race runs south and the southerly wind will be in our face, but will be more pleasant than the polar vortex of the past two years.

Today’s run felt smooth after yesterday’s off day from a busy schedule, spent most of the run visualizing the race and the course.  An easy day tomorrow, a visit to the expo to pick up the number, then it’s all in on Thursday.
