taper time and stalking the weather

An 8 mile recovery run in the park on another balmy 60 degree day. Felt ok. A little tired after yesterday’s 11 miles including the repeat miles on the track and Monday’s 12.  That’s fine because the taper for Sunday’s half has begun and will keep it light the rest of the way.  Been stalking the weather forecast for Niagara Falls, Canada, the race location.  It keeps changing.  The course is a northward point to point, so the wind is often a factor.  The forecast keeps changing the wind direction for the morning as well as the amount of precip.  The one constant is it’ll be comfortably cool, in the 40-50’s, and not too wet, if wet at all.  That all sounds good.
