Tested the recovering calf today with a 4 mile tempo run on the track with the club. A little nervous before the workout, hadn’t run hard on the legs since the injury, concerned that the pain might return during the run.
Glad to say, passed the test; not perfect, but good results. Did 4 miles on the track at 5:50 pace, most importantly no pain just a bit of stiffness. Much relief, a big confidence booster for Sunday’s Half, now definitely will enter.
