reminding the legs


8 sprint repeats today to keep some ‘life’ in the legs during this taper week.  Ran down Rumsey Road, a quiet one-way sidestreet where I often do speed work, to get some leg turnover going.  The apprx 400 yard slightly downhill curve got the legs moving, the 8 sprints were in 51, 51, 46, 46, 48, 48, 46, 44 seconds, with slow jog rest back to the start after each sprint.  8 miles altogether for the day.

It was on the warm side, in the low 80’s, not horrible but a small reminder of what summer training was like.  A good reminder ahead of the Half.
