sultry 300’s


Rained all day to clear out most of the humidity, but the still sultry air made tonight’s track workout a soaker from the sweat.

Did an abbreviated set of intervals, 8 x 300 meters (3/4 of a lap) averaging 56 seconds each with a 1/4 lap jog rest, as a prelude to Friday’s 4 miler.  Originally scheduled for 12-14 repeats, 8 was enough with only 2 days between now and the race, if only to get the legs and lungs working  and alive for Friday.

Now an easy couple of days, and hoping the weather takes it easy on us on Friday.
