dry run before the rain

Made sure to get in a run early because it’s supposed to rain for the next day and a half. A nice recovery 10 miler to the park and back, on a hazy morning, a lot of other runners out ahead of the storm. The legs were a bit sore from yesterday’s workout, but I felt good overall. Those track intervals really are like a time machine, they take me back to the past and I get younger. Painful while doing them, but all the better for it. Now watching the cool rain fall steadily outside the window, I’m longing for a nap…
