legs protesting


Legs were feeling yesterday’s speed workout, the hamstrings nearly cramping at one point in today’s 10 mile recovery run on the golf course in the park.  It was more of a 10 mile trudge, a lactic acid shuffle, with no lift in the strides, just banking on the soft grassy surface to ease the landings.

Now replenishing the body with some protein – a turkey dinner – and planning to put the legs up for the rest of the evening, as they’re threatening to revolt with more cramping up sometime tonight…
