The ‘trilogy’ of recovery runs that began Sunday concluded today, it seems, with 12 solid miles around and up and down the golf course in the park. Much of the run was on grass and trails like yesterday, but felt much less taxing than yesterday.
Today was more like the end of a hard full body massage, the last two days being the painful parts, and relief and endorphins resulting from it were in full force. The only thing missing was the incense and soothing music. One or two more days of easy running before speed work to get ready for Sunday’s 5k.
