A relatively balmy morning in the high teens after a month of near zero temps got me out for 9 mile recovery run for yesterday’s 20. It was ‘slow as you go’ at 9am, no pressure, as slow and relaxed as I wanted to go, just to loosen up the joints and massage the muscles on the soft snowy ground. All after a ‘strength workout’ this morning at work receiving and moving around cases of tropical fruit. Pineapples make you think of a bright sunny day.
Don’t know what kind of times I can run right now, what kind of racing shape I’m in, but all this running and lifting’s gotta (will) pay off.
