Took an ice plunge on a frozen Monday here in Buffalo tundra. 8 miles in the low teens w near zero windchill after yesterday’s near 50 degree day. The air was frozen thick, and everything was numb for the first couple of miles, the face and finger tips stayed that way, but the rest of the body warmed up soon after. The last few miles felt normal. This is just the tip of the iceberg. It’s supposed to get colder through the middle of the week before getting better. Not feeling nostalgic about last years polar vortex.
