A surprisingly pleasant 14 miler, after Wednesday’s 16 and yesterdays 12 (w/ a 7 mile tempo). Felt very ‘blah’ earlier in the day, but once the run got started – and the weather turned cooler and overcast – the strides felt relaxed as I took it easy. And it helped that most of the run was on soft surfaces like the golf course and trails. Also wearing some thicker socks made the new shoes more comfortable. It rained lightly the last few miles and felt good. We’re in for a cold turn in the weather, Autumn may be coming. Will try to get in some good running tomorrow morning while cheering on my son’s x-country team down in beautiful East Aurora, NY, the birthplace of Fisher-Price Toys. Enjoy your Friday evening!
