Another day of post-half recovery run, 8 gentle miles on grassy surfaces on a beautifully seasonal day, cool and sunny. Mentally was ready to do a track workout today, but decided against it to give the body another day to repair whatever microtears there were in the muscles from the race. Did have some bounce back in my stride though. Will probably do a set of 200 or 300 meters on the track tomorrow, and start prepping for Sunday’s 5k.
