A solid track workout tonight:
5 x 1200 meters (3 laps) at or near 5k race pace w/ 1 lap jog rest. The splits were: 4:03, 4:03, 4:02, 4:05, 3:59
2 miles warm up, 2 miles cool down. The temps in the 70’s, a bit humid, and a slight breeze against you down the back stretch. Overall, a fairly comfortable workout, not a killer. Have a 5k planned for Saturday, but this workout of longer intervals was really for the Half in two weeks.
A 3 miler this morning to add some distance. Hadn’t done a two-a-day in a while. Felt good, a good day.
