a nice summer run

A very easy 4 mile run around the neighborhood to recover from Saturday’s track and strength work.  Wasn’t feeling too bad, just a little sore, especially around the joints.  

monday

Continued to prepare for Wednesday’s track race(s) going easy for 6 miles, 4 on the road and 2 on the track to continue to get ‘acclimated’ to the oval surface, careful to not pick up the pace, as today’s not a hard day.  Overall it was a nice run in the sun, remembering it’s still summer and there’s still time to enjoy it.
