My ‘two days’ rule was in effect today. I’m usually more sore two days after a workout or race, and it was the case today after Friday’s intervals. Took the lead from a pleasant Sunday afternoon, though, and started off slowly, relaxed, and eased into a very enjoyable 8 mile run around the park and parkway. The soreness started to dissipate around mile 6 and, though not totally gone, got mixed in with the whole experience to become almost unnoticeable by the end. Such an easy-going run, it probably helped that I listened to a couple of Jack Johnson tracks before heading out.
