friday

A very easy 5 mile run, just to loosen up a little.  The body feeling like it’s recovering from the miles and workouts earlier in the week.  Actually, more like from all the miles and workouts of the past five months.  Might even do less tomorrow to further the healing process.  With all this talk of ‘recovering’ and ‘healing’, you’d think running and racing is some kind of medical or therapeutic phenomenon.  Most runners would agree that it is to a large degree.  So hoping to ‘recover’ and ‘heal’ a good amount by Sunday morning, become whole again, so I can power through a little over 13 miles and an hour+.
