Having a hard time shaking off this cold, looked like I was getting over it earlier in the week, but feeling congested again. Doesn’t help that everyone else at work seems to be sick, looks like this thing’s getting recycled.
Had a nice interval session yesterday, will take today off (now that it’s finally getting out), would like to get in a decent healthy 10 – 12 miler in the morning, a day off plus good sleep should help. Lower mileage this week – the ‘day on/day off’ routine – should also help. Just want to be fully recovered for the 5K a week from Sunday. Not a major race or anything, but haven’t raced in a month and would like to get a good one in…and anyway, it’s a race.
