Another strong 10 miler this morning, now three good runs in a row, I think I’m on my way to shaking off this cold. Temps in the 20’s, but didn’t feel too bad, another reason to think I’m getting better. Snowed overnight, but the couple of inches on the ground and around the park was a sight to behold in the hazy silver early morning light. The snow wasn’t deep, so it provided a gentle cushion that allowed for relaxed strides for much of the run. Many runners were out in the park, all appearing to be in a good mood, helped by the beautiful snow covered scenery, maybe a parting conciliatory gift by a Winter season that knows it had been cruelly unforgiving.
