This becoming a broken record. Today was another frigid day, and tomorrow will be colder, in single digits. This winter is wreaking havoc on training, specially when trying to prepare on snow covered roads/trails for an indoor mile – I’m channeling Rocky IV(?).
6 easy miles today, the body felt much better, must have flushed out most of the soreness thru yesterday’s run. Still intending to get some sprints in tomorrow but not sure how many or how fast I’m going to be able to do. As mentioned, it will be in single digits with sub-zero WC. At least feel like I’ve prepared well so far, and a slight tail-off due to the weather this week won’t hurt.
Have to keep calm and save energy the rest of the week.
