a normal run, for a change

Closest to a normal run in a while.  In the mid-30’s today, felt like a spring thaw, moods up. Broke out the new pair of running shoes that I’d been saving for a good weather day.  The right shoes make all the difference. The run felt natural and required much less effort than in the previous wrong pair.  8 smooth recovery miles in Delaware Park and through city streets.  Felt the effects of yesterday’s speed work, telling me I’m getting in better shape. What I didn’t feel was the upper body strain that had been a nuisance for a few weeks.  The most normal run in a while.
